Thesis and Project Requirements
Each student is required to complete a thesis (Plan 'A') or a project (Plan 'B') in order to graduate. The progress of thesis and project will be evaluated by the student's advisor and/or academic research committee every semester. Inadequate progress in thesis or project will result in a probation, and three consecutive probations will result in the termination of the student's academic status at the Faculty of ICT.
Normally, a student should identify his/her advisor by the end of the first academic year or the first semester of the second academic year at the latest. Then the student will review a number of related literatures, and discuss with his/her advisor for finalizing a research topic.
