B.Sc. International Admission


Admission steps

International applicants are recommended to apply to the Faculty of ICT through International Admission process. Applicants who wish to apply through this process does not have to take the direct admission written examinations. In order to apply, international applicants will follow the following steps:
  1. Fill in the online application at [ONLINE APPLICATION FORM] or offline application form [download].
  2. Submit required documents to the Faculty of ICT
  3. Interviewed by the admission staffs of the Faculty of ICT
Admitted applicants will be notified of the acceptance to the program within 3 weeks after the interview examination.


Requirements

  • Academic Qualification:
    • Candidates must hold a high-school (Grade 12) diploma or its equivalent certificate. The candidates in the graduating year can submit a supporting document from their high schools (in English) to confirm that the candidates will graduate before the start date of the undergraduate program.
    • An official transcript (strictly required). Transcript not from Thailand must be translated into English and certified by the high school of the applicant and the Ministry of Education of Thailand. The GPA must not be lower than 2.00 using the 4.0 scaling system.
  • A copy of passport showing applicant’s name, date of birth, issuing agency and expiry date.
  • 3 one-inch photos of the applicant in formal clothes (i.e. student uniform or formal clothes), facing front, no sunglasses. The picture must be taken not more than 6 months from the application date.
  • Completed online application form.
  • English Proficiency: (use one of the followings:)
    1. TOEFL score of at least 173(CBT) / 70(iBT) / 500 (PBT).
    2. IELTS score of at least 5.0.
  • Mathematics Proficiency: (Optional)
    1. SAT I
  • Two letters of recommendation from former instructors or former/current employer.
  • Not more than 2 pages of statement of purpose stating the reason for studying at the Faculty of ICT, Mahidol University.1
  • Resume (optional).
  • Acheivements and certificates (optional)
  • Financial support statement.2
Note:
  1. A statement of purpose is 1-2 pages of essay describing your career goals, means to achieve them, accomplishments so far towards those goals, and reasons to study at the Faculty of ICT.
  2. Financial support statement is a transcript of your bank account certified by your bank showing your financial activities in the last three months.
  3. All documents submitted to the Faculty of ICT must be signed and dated by the student applicant for the authenticity of documents.
