Presently, the university has eight campuses, the big one in Battambang and the rest in other seven provinces. Each campus has its own teaching and researching buildings, which are fully equipped with high-tech facilities to support learning, researching, teaching, and administration activities. These facilities include American Corner, UME libraries, GEP Program, Listening room, Computer Lap, research centers, Meeting halls, teaching rooms, and other supporting service facilities including rest rooms, stationery, and restaurants. Each facility is furnished with lighting and air-conditioning systems. |

In responding to the growing demands of learners and researchers, the university's management has increased more financial leverage on investing new research and teaching buildings. The construction of the three-story building had just been completed late last year in Kratie province. This year alone, three additional investment projects have been approved by the board management to construct new four-story buildings on eight campuses in Battambang, Banteay Meanchey, Pur Sat, Kampot, Sihanouk, Kratie, Koh Kong and Kampong Cham |

Accommodation Services for the Students
To facilitate accommodation for the students who come from the distant places, University of Management and Economics agreed on Memorandum of Understanding with the owners of rent houses to discount price possibly. It means that university affords more and more in order to enhance educating and learning of the students from different places throughout Cambodia. By the ways of these agreements are such as:
· Persuade the owners of rent houses to discount price
· To collaborate the owners to manage the students’ behavior
· Let the owners inform the university when any problems take place
· To visit them whenever is possible and defined
American Corner
American Corner Library
American Corner Library is in a campus of University of Management and Economics, Battambang, which has been supported fund and technical tasks by US Embassy to Cambodia. In lucky, UME was given two libraries in Battambang and Kampong Cham because there are three libraries donated by US embassy throughout Cambodia. It clarifies that UME is the biggest private university in Battambang and consists of thousands of students studying under the wise and intellectual leadership of Ph. D. H.E Tun Peakdey, a president of University. This library provides good opportunity for all the public who aim to study and research in it through equipping with many thousands of books such as: arts, humanity, architecture, music, history, formal science, social science, politics, cultures, linguistics, archeology, economics, laws, business, and other books. Moreover; some services are given such as:

University of Management and Economics has a computer lab which is equipped with 150 sets of computers and also added every year to satisfy the students’ demand. Some benefits are given to the students like:

UME Library
University of Management and Economics is located in the west of Net Yong High school, # 74, Group 4, Prek Preah Sdech village, Sangkat Pre Preah Sdech, Battambang Town, Battambang province, Cambodia; and also equipped with modern learning and teaching tools. Among of those, UME consists of two libraries: UME library and American Corner which contains thousands of books, internet, Wi-Fi., and other documents the public to study and research.
A. UME Library is an essential information center for the students study and research. It has been equipped computers linked with internet, cable TV, and many thousands of books in both Khmer and foreign languages including: arts, humanity, architecture, music, history, formal science, social science, politics, cultures, linguistics, archeology, economics, laws, business, and other books. The special features of library are given to the students with knowledge, consult, comfort, and other sources of information. Every day we observe that more and more students really use it because they think that it will enrich and enlarge their knowledge effectively. In addition, some services are provided such as:

In the calm evening of Saturday, December 18, 2010, Mahidol University Alumni joined together for the first time since the establishment of the university at the lawn in front of the Office of the President, Mahidol University.A number of Mahidol alumni joyously revisited their beloved university to reminisce their good old days in Mahidol University in this reunion event called “MU Blue Night”. On this occasion, staffs of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), including the dean, administrative board members, instructors, and staffs, were delighted to join this special event to meet alumni and enjoythe cool breeze in an evening of the winter at Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.

A good experience can build creativity which lead to great success. This was what the ‘Help Me, Please!’ team from MUICT has enjoyed. The group of three ICT 4th year students including Ms. SanhapornPhatratipakorn, Ms. ThanjiraAmornkosit, and Mr. PiyawatChanthanasombut were in the twenty finalists of the IT ONE Innovative Software Competition 2010 held on December 18, 2010 at Silom Ballroom Hall, Holiday Inn Hotel, Bangkok. The innovation of the ‘Help Me, Please!’ group featured an efficient navigational system, giving directionsto the user using GPS navigational system and users can contact other users who are nearby to request for immediate help via a centralized network. Despite not receiving the top prize eventually, the team considered the failure as the beginning of their journey to success.We are impressed with the team’s attitude and wishthe ‘Help Me, Please!’ group success in their future projects.

In the meeting, students and parents asked various questions which were answered by Assoc. Prof. Jarernsri L. Mitrpanont, Dean of the Faculty of ICT and Assoc. Prof. Supachai Tungwongsarn, Senior advisor of the Faculty of ICT and Chairman of the board of the Software Industry Promotion Agency (SIPA). Current and former undergraduate scholarship students also participated in the event with a warm welcome and discussed the details of a few questions so that the perspective scholarship students will have sufficient information to make their admission decision by the registration date, 23 November 2010. On this occasion, the Faculty of ICT would like to congratulate those who performed excellently for the Faculty of ICT direct entrance examination and were awarded the Faculty of ICT?s undergraduate scholarships.
